Greetings!

My name is Brad P. Scobey, President of Spirit Title & Escrow, Inc. and I am very pleased that you have stopped by for a visit.  I have worked exclusively in the title insurance industry here in Broward County for over 25 years in many facets and positions.  I learned the business from the ground up beginning as a bookkeeper for a law firm while completing my college degree.  It was there I had the opportunity to enter the specific area of real estate law by learning how to do title searches and reading abstracts.   Among my varied experiences:

    -     Over 3 years of preparing developer closings for G.L. Homes of Florida
    -     Lender underwriting/closer for Union Bank, n/k/a Wells Fargo Home Mortgage
    -     5 years as the General Manager of a large title company with 15 employees
    -     10 years as Owner/President of Spirit Title & Escrow, Inc.

What I learned over the years was that getting bigger did not result in being better.  When I opened Spirit Title & Escrow, Inc. in 2002, I set out to do things differently than what I had experienced at most other law firms and title companies.  I am committed to remain small in order to provide our clients the attention to detail they deserve and to not put undue stress on the staff.  I feel that this combination results in better service and a much more pleasant surrounding for your transaction.

I do no mass advertising, as I believe that hard work and good results will speak for themselves.  All of our business is by word of mouth from very satisfied clients and business associates.
